    The Learning Path

A year of learning, one week at a time.

Five levels, mapped to India's NCF-FS. Each week has one topic, one book, one conversation and one small activity, done together at home.

You see the map of the year. Your child sees their books, and a star for each one they finish. Nothing is timed or graded.

    How the path is built

Five levels, nine units, one week at a time.

    • Levels

Five levels, ages 3 to 8

Nursery, LKG, UKG, Class 1 and Class 2, mapped to India's NCF-FS. Pick a level by age. You can move up or down at any time.

    • Units

      Nine units a year

Each unit has three topic weeks and one Storyteller week, where your child makes up a story of their own. Each unit ends in a badge. With festival, holiday and look-back weeks, a year is 52 weeks.

    • Weeks

One book, one talk, one activity

Read the week's book together (about 15 minutes), talk about it (about 10) and do one small activity (about 15). A full week adds Tell and Share. About 25 minutes on screen a week.

    Five strands, every week

A little of each, every week.

Every week touches five strands: Words, Numbers, World, Heart, and Safe & well. Each level pitches the week to its age, so a three-year-old and a seven-year-old meet the same idea in a way they can follow.

    • Words

      Talking, listening and early reading

    • Numbers

      Counting, shapes and patterns

    • World

Nature, people and how things work

    • Heart

    • Safe & well

    What you see

What they've met: counted, never graded.

Beside the map of the year, you see what the weeks held: the words your child met, the weeks you did together and the badges they earned, with real examples from the books.

Each one counts what you did together. None of them is a claim about what your child “learned”, and none is a grade. Your child never sees a test or a level.

If your child also reads on their own in Yarnily Kids, their profile shows the books they read, their stars and trophies, and the activities they finished.

    Badges and your own stories

A badge for every unit. Nothing to keep up with.

Each unit ends in a badge for the weeks you spent together. A busy week, a holiday, a child who isn't in the mood: the path waits for you. There is no timer and nothing to catch up on. Badges are for what you do together; the stars and trophies in Yarnily Kids are for what your child does on their own.

When something else comes up, like a new sibling, the dentist or Diwali, you can make a book about it, at your child's reading level. It uses your plan's monthly allowance.

    How we measure this

Built on research. Written in plain words.

The Learning Path is mapped to India's NCF-FS for the foundational years. It also draws on established work on vocabulary, early reading and social-emotional learning.

You never have to read the jargon. Everything you see is in plain words, and we never test or grade your child. See the research for the evidence base.

    Privacy

    What we don't track.

A map of your child's year should not watch your child. So there is:

    • No biometrics.
    • No ad targeting.
    • No behavioural surveillance.
    • No selling data to anyone, ever.

See the research page for the list of claims we will not make.
